Candidate town hall October 17!

The Progressive Blueprint for Greenfield is hosting a candidate town hall at the John Zon Community Center on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 from 7-9pm. Come connect with the candidates for School Committee, City Councilor At-Large, and Assessor! Attendees will have the chance to submit questions for candidates and hear their stances on key issues facing the city and its residents.

• Date & Time: Tuesday, October 17, 2023, 7pm-9pm
• Location: John Zon Community Center, 35 Pleasant St., Greenfield, and streaming live on Greenfield Community Television

The confirmed list of participating candidates includes:

• School Committee Candidates: Ann Childs and Stacey Sexton. (Amy Proietti and Marina Leonovich declined to participate.)
• City Council At-Large Candidates: Jesus Leyva, John Garrett, and Wahab Minhas.
• Assessor Candidates: Charles Green and David Roulston.

Community members are encouraged to arrive early at 6:45 PM to submit questions for the candidates. The Town Hall will start at 7:00pm with introductory statements from each candidate, allowing them to share their visions and priorities for Greenfield. Following opening remarks, a moderator will pose community members’ questions, giving each candidate equal opportunity to speak and respond to each others’ comments.
